A heatmap shows you which areas of your website receives the most clicks from your web visitors. Heatmaps can be used to measure the performance of different sections of your webpages and you can use this valuable data to increase your conversion rate. They are indeed a great tool to assess the efficiency of your calls-to-action, buttons, menus, links, images and/or advertisement. For instance, you could place two different looking calls-to-action on the same page in different areas and see which one receives the most attention from your visitors. With that information, you can better analyze why a certain word or graphic is more catchy than the other.
